How can the fun be over when you're just getting started? But face it, life has to go on and everyone has to slip back into normal-life gear. To help you ease being back in school, here are some ideas:

Catch up
Tell your friends, "It's great to be back in school because I can get to see all of you again!" Catch up for some games and fun.

Things you like
Write down 5 things you like about school.

Learn to relax and de-stress
Go out and do things that you enjoy doing, like exercise, go to the beach and listen to the cool sound of the waves, hang out with friends, take up a hobby/game to take your mind off the anxiety.

Be glad
School food is a lot cheaper than eating outside.

Be realistic
Spend some time and ask yourself what you hope to achieve? Do an honest evaluation of yourself: what are your abilities, strengths and weaknesses. This will help put things in clearer perspective.

Are you studying smart?
Prioritise your activities and draw up a timetable, so that you can manage your time well. To improve your study method and techniques, don't hesitate to ask your resources, be it teachers, friends, tutors or parents for suggestions.

Talk it over
Don't keep your problems and feelings to yourself. Confide in someone. It could be anyone, be it your best friend, parent, teacher, or counsellor.

Be positive
Try not to focus on why you dread going to school. Instead think about why want to go back to school. E.g. friends, CCA, etc

If you need someone to talk to, you can always login to metoyou cyber counselling service and chat with a cyber counsellor.
