The scope of the metoyou Cyber-Counselling
metoyou Cyber-Counselling is NOT a crisis service and participating in it will not help you if you feel like hurting or killing youself or someone else.
metoyou Cyber-Counselling does not provide assessment, diagnosis or treatment of psychiatric conditions such as depression, personality disorders etc.
metoyou Cyber-Counselling is not intended to be a substitute for mental health therapy or to replace the help offered by your school counsellors. If you are currently seeking any of the professional help relating to your mental and emotional well being, metoyou recommends that you keep these professionals informed of your participation in the metoyou Cyber-Counselling.
If at any time during or after your participation in the metoyou Cyber-Counselling, you feel distressed to the point of inflicting pain on yourself or others, you need to speak to someone IMMEDIATELY or contact the 24-hour SOS hotline at 1800-221-4444.
Provision of the metoyou Cyber-Counselling is not affiliated with the professional counselling services offered by Marine Parade Family Service Centre.
